There was a time when you commonlysaw Gronk! If You Love Dinosaur
bumper stickers on cars around town. I was a card-carrying member.
In general, I’d say it was a lot of fun while it lasted. This is my first song
ever written in an open D tuning. Who says you can’t teach an old dog?

Jeff and Chuck started a club
Kinda like the Odd Fellows and the Elks
The club was outside Rainier on Chuck’s undeveloped land
You had to be a card-holding member to come rock out with the bands

The club members were hippies.
They were smokin’ LSD
The cops came out to shut it down
The townsfolk were quite pleased
Jeff went to the county
Jeff threatened to sue
The county said, you dinosaurs must do what dinos do

Dinosaur got bigger for the next few years
The big one, Memorial Day
Tacoma bikers came and changed the whole vibe
The money got funny
And Chuck pulled the plug
